Ayyubid, al-Nasir Salah al-Din Yusuf I, Saladin, (AH 564-589 / 1169-93 AD), silver Half Dirham, identifying Saladin as al-Malik al-Nas[ir] / Salah al-Dunya wa al-[Din] / Yusuf b. Ayyub, 1.39g (Album 789M; cf Zeno 351837). Very fine and of the highest rarity.

Thought by Album to be mint of Manbij on the basis of style.

al-Malik al-Nasir Salah al-Dunya wa al-Din can be translated as Victorious King, righteousness of the world and of religion.
