Russia, Russian Empire, Elizabeth I (1741-1762), gold Rouble, 1756, Moscow mint, bust of Elizabeth right, Russian legend surrounding, Б·М·ЕЛИСАВЕТЪ·IIМПIСАМОДВСЕРОС, rev. struck en Medaille, Romanov imperial eagle centre dividing date above, Russian legend surrounding, ·МОН·ЦЕНА·РƔБЛЬ·, edge reeded, 1.62g (Bitkin 59-60; Fb. 116; KM C22). Struck on a crude flan as standard for type, some toning around reverse details, light brush marks on obverse, graded by NGC as AU Details (Cleaned), rare.

Calendar year mintage 36,444.

The Russian legends translate as on obverse as "Elizabeth the First by the Grace of God, Empress and Autocrat of All Russia," and on the reverse as "Coin to the value of one Rouble."
