Rhodesia & Nyasaland, 1955 Cu Ni Proof Set

Rhodesia and Nyasaland, Elizabeth II, bronze and cupro-nickel Proof Set, 1955, Bronze ½-Penny, Penny; Cupro-Nickel 3-Pence, 6-Pence, Shilling, 2-Shillings and ½-Crown, without case of issue (KM PS1). All coins show occasional toning spots, otherwise mint state, and extremely rare in cupro-nickel.

In 1955 silver proof sets were made in quantity, some 2000, but the cupro-nickel proof set has a reported mintage of a mere 10 sets issued.
