Republic of Ireland, silver Proof One Pound, 1995, struck for the Fiftieth Anniversary of the United Nations by the Royal Mint, Irish harp with fourteen strings, inscription and dates surrounding "eIRe" above and "1945-1995" below, rev. struck en medaille, Dove of peace flying left with ribbon in beak displaying dates 1945 1995, United Nations logo behind and conjoined "50", legend above, "nATIOnS united FOR PEACE" denomination £1 below, edge milled, weight 28.28g (KM#30). As struck in original capsule and box with original certificate, highly unusual to find with box and Royal Mint certificate which is not numbered.
