*Elizabeth II (1952-2022), gold proof Five-Ounces of Five Hundred Pounds, 2021, struck in 999.9 Fine Gold from the Great Engravers series commemorating the Gothic Crown coin by William Wyon, crowned head right, JC initials below for designer Jody Clark, Latin legend and border surrounding, ELIZABETH II. D. G. REG. F. D. 500 POUNDS. 2021, rev. Based on the reverse of the original coin - an ornate quartered shield design, crowned cruciform shields, emblems in angles, garter star at centre, w incuse on inner border either side of top crown, date in roman numerals in lower right of legend which commences in upper left quarter, 'teatur unita deus anno dom mmxxi' all in gothic script, milled edge 156.3g. As struck, in original Royal Mint box and outer packaging plus numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

Limited edition of only 175 coins

Legend on the reverse translates as "May God guard these united, in the year of our Lord 1847."
