Kingdom of Pontus, Mithradates VI Eupator (120-63 B.C.), Silver Tetradrachm. Struck 90/89 B.C. Diademed head facing right, rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ / MIΘPAΔATOY / EYΠATOPOΣ, Pegasos standing left, lowering its head to drink, a star over a crescent on left, HΣ over a monogram on right, Θ below; all within a wreath of ivy-leaves and flowers, 16.83g., 12h (SNG von Aulock 6678 (this coin); De Callataÿ D47/R5, example a and f (this coin)). Very light traces of double-striking on reverse, good style, beautiful cabinet tone, extremely fine with a good pedigree.
