Octavian, Silver Denarius. Travelling mint with Octavian, struck 42 B.C. CAESAR III VIR R P C, bare head of Octavian facing right, rev. curule chair inscribed CAESAR DIC PER, upon which is a wreath, the legs decorated with sculptured eagles, 3.74g., 9h (Cr 497/2a; Syd 1322; RBW 1756). Slightly irregular flan, as often with this issue, good portrait, nearly extremely fine.
