Nero (A.D. 54-68), AE Quadrans. Mint of Rome, struck c. A.D. 64. NERO CLA-VD CAESAR AVG, crested helmet set to right on a column, against which leans a shield decorated with gorgoneion, a transverse spear behind, rev. GER P M TR - P IMP P P, olive-branch, S - C in field, 2.42g., 6h (RIC 250). Smooth dark brown patina, extremely fine.
