Mysia, Lampsakos (c. 500-450 B.C.), Silver Diobol. Female janiform head, rev. head of Athena facing left, wearing a Corinthian helmet; all within an incuse square, 1.25g., 6h (SNG France 1126; Rosen 524; SNG von Aulock 7390). Of excellent archaic style, well-centered, lightly toned and about extremely fine.
