Maximinus I Thrax (AD 235-38), silver Denarius, Rome, IMP MAXIMINUS PIVS AVG, laureate and draped bust right, rev. PAX AVGVSTI, Pax standing left, holding branch and transverse sceptre, 2.68g (RIC 12). Extremely fine with attractive iridescent tone.
