Marcus Aurelius (AD 161-180), silver Denarius, Rome, AD 166-167, M ANTONINVS AVG ARM PARTH MAX, laureate head right, rev. TR P XXI IMP IIII COS III, Providentia standing, head left, holding long scepter in left hand and pointing to globe with rod in her right hand, 3.25g (RIC 170). Attractively toned, extremely fine.
