Lucania, Velia, silver Didrachm, 300-280 BC, head of Athena right, griffin on helmet, Δ above visor, Φ before neck, rev. [Υ]EΛHTΩN, lion right, pentagram above, between Φ and I, 7.40g, 4h (SNG ANS 1373; SNG Cop. 1580). Well centred, good very fine and with attractive grey patina.
