L HOSTILIVS / SASERN, fast biga being driven by charioteer, holding a whip and the reins, a warrior behind facing backwards, holding a shield and hurling a spear, 3.84g., 1h (Crawford 448/2a; Sydenham 952; RBW 1569; Sear Imperators 18). A beautiful example of this interesting historical coin, unusually well-centered on a broad flan and virtually complete, attractive cabinet tone, nearly extremely fine.
