Kushan Empire, Kanishka III (c. 267-70 AD), gold Dinar, nimbate and crowned king standing left, making offerings at small altar left, with trident above, holding trident standard right and wearing a sword and armour, Brahmi letters ga between altar and feet, hu in right field, rev. Oesho (Shiva) standing before the bull, Nandi, holding garland and trident, OHÞO right, tamgha top left, 7.42g, (Cribb & Jongeward 1643; Göbl 634; MAC 3503). Good extremely fine.
