BAΣIΛEΩΣ / ΛYΣIMAXOY, Athena enthroned left, holding Nike and resting her left elbow on a shield, decorated with a lion's head, set at her side; behind her rests a spear, monograms on left and on throne, 17.22g., 12h (Thompson 211 var. (monograms); Müller 545-6 var. (monograms)). With a rather austere portrait, well-struck in high relief, attractive toning with golden iridescence, extremely fine.
