AΛEΞANΔPOY, Zeus enthroned left, holding and eagle and a sceptre, a rose on left, ΔI-O below throne, 17.25g., 11h (Price 3971; Müller 124; Zervos, 'The Early Tetradrachms of Ptolemy I', ANS MN 13, 1967, series A2, pl. 1, 3 (this obverse die)). Of exceptional style, perfectly centred and well-struck, with a wonderful old cabinet tone, about extremely fine.
