Divus Julius Caesar, Silver Denarius. Minted of Rome, struck 40 B.C. DIVI IVLI, wreathed head of Julius Caesar facing right, a lituus behind, rev. Q VOCONIVS / VITVLVS, a calf walking left, 3.99g, 7h (Cr. 526/2; Sydenham 1132). A few light bankers' marks, else lightly toned, well centered and with a fine portrait of Caesar, almost very fine.
