James I gold Angel, new type

James I (1603-25), fine gold Angel, third coinage, with mark of value in field, initial mark thistle (1621-23), reverse reads DNO for DOMINO, 4.11g (Schneider -; N.2110; S.2635). Pleasing red pinkish tone, a little weak on upper right half of Angel and on corresponding part of ship's hull otherwise good very fine and extremely rare, the Schneider collection only has one third coinage Angel, whereas it has 5 examples of the 2nd coinage.
