Italy, Lucca, Republic (1369-1799), gold Fiorino d'oro, facing bust of St Vultus, small arms (Balbani) below, rev. St. Martin on horseback riding left, head turned right, cutting his cloak and presenting it to beggar, 3.42g (Bellesia p.135 4/c). Slightly double struck on reverse, extremely fine and very rare.
3.42 grams of .917 gold. Made in Italy.
