Ireland, William and Mary (1688-94), copper Halfpenny, 1692, conjoined busts right, legend and toothed border surrounding, GVLIELMVS. ET. MARIA. DEI. GRATIA, rev. crowned harp with 13 strings, date either side of crown, MAG. BR. FR. ET. HIB. REX. ET. REGINA., weight 7.15g (D&F 494; S.6597). Toned a bold very fine and better than usually seen.
The Latin legends translates on obverse as "William and Mary by the Grace of God," and on reverse as "King and Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
