Ireland, Royal Dublin Society Child Admission Ticket

Ireland, Royal Dublin Society, child admission ticket, struck in brass by Parkes, Hibernia seated right, with books, shield and fasces, holding spear, PARKES F in exergue, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, NOSTRI PLENA LABORIS, rev. ADMIT / CHILD in two lines with curve lines surrounding, legend reads ROYAL DUBLIN SOCIETY, weight 8.79g (Davis and Walters 123/175A). Toned, extremely fine, very rare.

The motto in Latin translates as "Our work bears fruit." the Royal patronage of the Society occurred from 1820 onwards.
