Ireland, James I (1603-25), silver Sixpence, first coinage (1603-04), first crowned bust right, beaded circles and legend surrounding, initial mark bell both sides, .IACOBVS. D; G; ANG; SCO; FRA; ET. HIB; REX., rev. crowned harp, beaded circles and legend surrounding, .TVEATVR. VNITA. DEVS. weight 2.13g (DF 260; S.6514). Toned, a few light hairline scratches, otherwise almost very fine.

The abbreviated Latin legends translate as on the obverse, "James, by the grace of God, King of England, Scotland France and Ireland," and on the reverse "May God guard the united."
