Ireland, Henry VIII (1509-47), base silver, Sixpenny Groat, posthumous issue (1547-50), crowned bust of King looking three quarter right, beaded circles and legend surrounding, rev. long cross fourchee over quartered shield of arms, beaded circles and legend surrounding, initial mark P, weight 2.14g (DF 215; S.6488). Toned, weak in parts as usual for this base issue, almost very fine and rare.
