Ireland, Henry VII (1485-1509), silver Three Crowns Groat, Geraldine issue (August? To October? 1487), quartered shield over cross with three annulets at each terminal, small shield of Fitzgerald arms either side, linear circle and outer legend surrounding without King's name, REX AnG LIE Z FRAn, rev. three crowns within double tressure of nine arcs over cross with three annulets at each terminal, linear circle and outer legend surrounding, Dom InOS VRERnIE, the first D is a reversed E and another over the first O, weight 1.72g (D&F 186A; S.6432). Toned with most detail clearer than most examples extant, good fine to almost very fine for issue, rare.
The Latin legends omit the monarch's name on this issue with the translation as "King of England and France" and continuing on the reverse as "Lord of Ireland".
