Ireland, George III 1775 pattern Halfpenny PR65BN

George III (1760-1820), copper Proof Halfpenny, 1775, laureate head right, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGVIS . III. REX. rev. crowned Irish harp with nine strings, date below, HIBERNIA. around (D&F 585; S.6614). Attractively toned, tiny dig on jaw and one in field, otherwise practically as struck, and very rare, slabbed and graded by PCGS as PF65BN.

The Latin legends translate to on obverse "George III King" and on reverse "Ireland."
