Ireland, George II 1737 silver Proof Farthing

Ireland, George II (1727-60), silver Proof Farthing, 1737, type I, laureate head left, legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIUS. II. REX. rev. inverted die axis, crowned harp of ten strings, date below, HIBERNIA. Above, edge plain and striated, weight 4.16g (DF 559; S.6608). Dark tone, good extremely fine and extremely rare.

The Latin legends translate as "George II, King" on obverse and on reverse "Ireland".
