Irish Free State, silver Halfcrown, 1937, Harp with 16 strings, date either side of harp, Gaelic legend "SaORStát" to left, "Éireann" to right, toothed border and rim surrounding both sides, rev. horse standing left, denomination in Gaelic surrounding with value 2s 6d in exergue, PM to upper right of exergue for designer Percy Metcalfe, weight 13.83g (DF.688; S.6625). Toned with circulation wear, a bold fine, rarest final date of denomination under the Irish Free State.
