Ireland, Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Third base issue (1601-02), 3 oz silver Shilling, quartered shield of arms, beaded circles and legend surrounding both sides, initial mark star, ELIZABETH. D: G: ANG; FR; ET. HIBER; RE;, rev. crowned harp, POSVI. DEVM. ADIVTOREM. MEV;, weight 5.48g (BCW ST-2B/ST-b; DF 252; S.6507). A little uneven in shape and usual weak strike for this base issue, some porosity on obverse, otherwise a bold fine for issue.

The abbreviated Latin legends translate as on the obverse, "Elizabeth, by the grace of God, Queen of England France and Ireland." and on the reverse as "I have made God my helper."
