HIBER: RE, initial mark martlet both sides, rev. crowned harp, date either side of bottom, beaded circles and legend surrounding, POSVI DEV; ADIVTOREM: MEV; weight 1.22g (DF 256; S.6510A). Toned, weak in parts, very fine and the rarer date.
The abbreviated Latin legends translate as on the obverse "Elizabeth by the Grace of God, Queen of England France and Ireland," and on the reverse "I have made God my Helper" a Psalm from the Bible.
