Ireland, Edward I (1272-1307),silver Penny, Dublin Mint, later issue (1297-1302), type IVa, crowned head within triangle, one pellet below collar, legend surrounding, EDW.R. ANGL'. D NS HYB, rev. cross pattée, tri-pellets in each angle, beaded circles and legend surrounding, CIVI TAS DVBL INIE, weight 1.21g (DF 68; S.6264).Toned with a little ghosting on obverse, porous surfaces, good fine to about very fine.

The Latin legends translate as "Edward King of England, Lord of Ireland" on the obverse and "City of Dublin" on the reverse.
