Ireland, Charles II (1660-85), copper Halfpenny, 1683, laureate and draped bust right, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, CAROLVS II DEI. GRATIA, rev. crowned harp, date either side of crown, large letter legend surrounding, MAG. BR. FRA. ET HIB. REX, weight 6.65g (DF 351; S.6574). Toned very fine for issue.

The Latin legends translate as on obverse "Charles the Second, by the grace of God, King of Great Britain, France and Ireland"
