Ireland, Charles I Ormonde Crown, Dowle and Finn plate coin

Ireland, Charles I (1625-49), silver Ormond Crown, issued 1643-44, large crown over C.R, the stop between CR a lozenge with tiny pellet at each apex, linear and outer toothed circles surrounding both sides, rev. large V for value of five shillings, S above, weight 29.44g (DF 288; S.6544). Toned, uneven in shape, good very fine for issue, the plate coin from the Dowle and Finn reference and interestingly the ornamented stop listed as DF 291 is present on this coin when it is referenced as DF 288, very rare.
