Henry VI, first reign (1422-61), silver long cross Penny, Calais Mint, Rosette-Mascle issue (1430-31), facing crowned bust in beaded circle, initial mark cross fleury type IIIb, legend surrounding, beaded outer border, small rosette and small mascle, +hEnRICVS* REX◊ AnGLIE, rev. long cross pattée, tri-pellets in each inner angle, beaded circles and legend around, VIL <>LAxx CALI SIE*, weight 0.82g (N.1450; DIG 7v/Dii; S.1865). Toned, one tiny rim chip, good very fine.

The Latin abbreviated legend translates as "Henry, King of the England" and on the reverse "Town of Calais".
