Anglo-Gallic, Henry V (1413-22), silver Florette of Twenty Deniers, first issue (from 19th January 1419), crown over three fleur de lis, Latin legend and linear borders surrounding, +hEnRICVS: FRANCORV: REX, rev. floreated cross, crown in first quarter, lion in fourth quarter, Latin legend and linear borders surrounding, +SIT: nOmE: DnI: BENEDICTV, weight 2.98g (Elias 246b; AGC 361A dies 1/a; S.8156). A little double struck with some associated striking weakness, toned very fine.
The Latin legends translate as "Henry, King of France" on the obverse, and on the reverse "Blessed be the name of the Lord," taken from the Bible.
