Imperial eagle centre, German legend DEUTSCH OSTAFRIKA above round, denomination 15 RUPIEN below, arabesque ending under T of Ostafrika, 12h, edge plain (KM 16.1; Friedberg 1). High grade, an appealing example of this increasingly popular colonial oddity, slabbed and graded by NGC as MS63.
