George V (1910-36),0.500 silver Halfcrown, 1933, bare head left, BM raised on right of truncation for engraver Bertram MacKennal, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX,rev.quartered shield of arms, tiny raised K at lower left indent, tiny raised G at lower right indent, for designer Kruger Gray, crowned pair of interlinked Gs to left and to right, Latin legend in upper half with emblematic stops of rose at top, thistle at left and shamrock at right, FID: DEF: IND: IMP:, denomination HALF. CROWN. 1933 in lower half with lozenge stops, edge milled, weight 14.18g (Bull 3745; ESC 782; Davies 1709; S.4037).Lightly toned extremely fine.

The Latin legend on the obverse translates as "George the Fifth, by the grace of God, King of all the Britains," and continues on the reverse as "Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
