IND: IMP:,rev. struck en médaille, St George slaying dragon with sword, WWP under lance, Mint letters SA at centre of ground-line, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue (Bentley 923; Kaplan 103; Marsh 290; S.4004). Toned, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as MS65.

NGC certification 6066378-085.

We note as of April 2022 that there have been 690 examples graded across both services of which only two have been graded finer than a 65.

Calendar year mintage 11,107,611.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "George the Fifth by the Grace of God, King of all the Britains, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
