George V (1910-36), bronze Penny, 1919, bare head left, with raised BM for Bertram Mackennal on truncation, legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP: rev. Britannia seated right with trident and shield, denomination in words surrounding, date in exergue (Freeman 185 dies 2+B; S.4051). A few tiny nicks and spots on otherwise almost full lustre, more toned on reverse, uncirculated.
The abbreviated Latin legend on the obverse translates as "George V by the Grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
