IND: IMP:, rev. struck en médaille, St George slaying dragon with sword, WWP under lance, Mint letter P at centre of ground-line, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue (Bentley 859; McDonald 245; Marsh 252; S.4001).Toned has been slabbed and graded by NGC as MS62.

NGC certification 6066375-098.

We note as of June 2021 that NGC have slabbed and graded 39 pieces of which ten are finer. PCGS have slabbed and graded 135 pieces of which only 63 are finer.

Calendar Year Mintage 4,635,287.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "George the Fifth by the Grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
