George IV (1820-30), gold proof Sovereign, 1826, second bare head left, date below neck, legend and toothed border surrounding, rosette stops, .GEORGIUS IV DEI GRATIA., rev. inverted die axis, crowned quartered shield of arms, with a crowned escutcheon of the Arms of Hanover, BRITANNIARUM REX FID: DEF:, edge milled (Bentley 392; Hill 11A; S.3801). Brilliant, surface marks and hairlines both sides in fields, has been graded and slabbed by NGC as PF62 ultra cameo.

NGC Certification 3638334-013.

The Latin legends translate to on obverse "George the Fourth by the Grace of God" continuing on the reverse as "King of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
