St George and dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue, WWP on ground line below lance for William Wellesley Pole, weight 8.00g (Bentley 15; Hill 8; EGC.964; S.3800). Pleasing cabinet tone, hairlines and some contact marks, series of light scratches across neck, some light scratches between horse front legs, otherwise extremely fine, rare.
