George IV (1820-30), gold Sovereign, 1821, first laureate head left, B.P. below neck, GEORGIUS IIII D: G: BRITANNIAR: REX F:D:, rev. St. George and dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue, raised WWP on ground line below lance, weight 7.95g (Bentley 12; Hill 5; Bull EGC 959; S.3800). Light tone, some wear and attrition with surface marks, good fine to almost very fine.

Calendar year mintage 5,356,787.

The Latin legends translate to on obverse "George the Fourth by the Grace of God, King of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
