George III BoE Eighteenpence
George III (1760-1820), silver Bank Token of Eighteenpence, 1812, second laureate head right, Latin legend GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA REX, rev. denomination and date in four lines surrounded by oak and laurel wreath, weight 7.42g (Bull 2115; ESC 972; S.3772). Toned, a number of light nicks and surface marks, short hairline scratch under bust, extremely fine.
The Latin obverse legend translates as "George III, King by the Grace of God" coupled with an English language reverse.
