SOIT. QUI. MAL . Y. PENSE. legend and toothed border surrounding BRITANNIARUM REX FID: DEF:, weight 14.08g (Bull 2102; Davies 62; ESC 623; S.3789). Toned, some nicks and hairlines, almost extremely fine.

The Latin legend translate as on the obverse "George the Third, by the grace of God," and on the reverse as "King of the Britains, Defender of the Faith" and the French on the motto, "Evil to him who evil thinks."
