George III (1760-1820), silver Halfcrown, 1819, small laureate head right, date below, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms, Order of the Garter motto in French surrounding, .HONI . SOIT. QUI. MAL . Y. PENSE. legend and toothed border surrounding BRITANNIARUM REX FID: DEF:, weight 14.12g (Bull 2102; Davies 62; ESC 623; S.3789). Toned, some nicks and surface marks, small rim bruise, otherwise good very fine.

The Latin legend translate as on the obverse "George the Third, by the grace of God," and on the reverse as "King of the Britains, Defender of the Faith" and the French on the motto, "Evil to him who evil thinks."
