George III 1816 Eighteenpence
George III (1760-1820), silver Bank Token of Eighteenpence, 1816, second laureate head right, Latin legend GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA REX, rev. denomination and date in four lines surrounded by oak and laurel wreath, weight 7.35g (Bull 2123; ESC 979; S.3772). Unevenly toned with speckling of a dark gunmetal grey colour, otherwise extremely fine and the last year for the denomination.
The Latin obverse legend translates as "George III, King by the Grace of God" coupled with an English language reverse.
