George III 1812 Pattern Ninepence Bank Token PF63

George III (1760-1820), silver Pattern Bank Token, Ninepence, 1812, 9D type, laureate head right, legend and raised rim surrounding, GEORGIVS III DEI GRATIA REX, rev. four line inscription within oak and laurel wreath, BANK / TOKEN / 9D / 1812, edge plain (Bull 2185; ESC 1478 R2; S.3773). Dark tone a little streaky on reverse, otherwise good extremely fine, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as PF63, very rare.

NGC certification 3827968-012.

The Latin obverse legend translates as "George III, King by the Grace of God" coupled with an English language reverse.
