George III 1804 Proof BoE Dollar

George III (1760-1820), Proof Bank of England silver Dollar 1804, laureate and draped bust right with top leaf to centre of E in DEI, CHK initials on truncation, legend GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA REX. toothed border around rim both sides, rev. Britannia seated left within crowned garter, inverted raised K below shield, denomination FIVE SHILLINGS / DOLLAR on garter, date below, BANK OF ENGLAND legend, edge plain (Bull 1939; L&S 64; ESC 154; S.3768). A little unevenly toned, though of an attractive colouration, some light hairlines, otherwise as struck and rare.
