George III (1760-1820), copper Penny, 1797, small laureate and draped bust right, K.: raised on truncation for engraver Conrad Heinrich Küchler, wreath with ten leaves, Latin legend incuse on raised rim, GEORGIUS III. D: G. REX., rev. Britannia seated left on rock with trident and shield holding olive branch, ship sailing right to left, mintmark SOHO raised on rock below, date incuse on rim below, inscription BRITANNIA above round, edge plain (Peck 1132; S.3777). Toned with traces of original lustre around devices, well preserved, graded by NGC as MS62 BN.
