George III 1792 Maundy Set, "wire" money one year only type

George III (1760-1820), silver Maundy Set, 1792, "wire money" type, Fourpence, Threepence, Twopence, Penny, laureate and cuirassed bust right, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding both sides, GEORGIVS III DEI GRATIA, rev. crowned wire line mark of value, date below, legend commences lower left .MAG. BRI. FR. ET. HIB. REX. (Bull 2237; ESC 2419; Robinson 279, 280, 281, 282; S.3763). Toned, scratch on Penny and dig on Twopence, generally a bold to good very fine and a one year only type, rare.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "George the Third, by the Grace of God," and on reverse as "King of Great Britain, France and Ireland."

The 1792 Maundy features for only this year value figures of a wire like script.
